Not worth writing about

Requests to add a bar whose maker publishes no tensile figure and no load rating. Three UK sellers are already excluded for exactly this reason, and it is not negotiable.
Offers of payment for a listing, a link, a mention or a favourable position. There are no paid placements on this site and there will not be.
Requests for a verdict on which bar to buy. Nobody here has lifted on these bars, so any answer would be invented. The guides explain how to decide for yourself.

A contact address is not published yet

This site has just been built and no contact address has been set up. One will be added here, along with the publisher's name and address in the privacy policy and terms, before the site is promoted anywhere. Those gaps are marked rather than filled with invented details.

If a number here is wrong, it is worse than useless. Please tell us.

Accuracy is the only thing this site has to offer.

Every bar and plate listed here is sold by someone else, and the specifications shown are the manufacturer’s or retailer’s own published figures, quoted rather than measured. Because nobody here has lifted on these bars, you will find no reviews, scores, star ratings or “best bar” rankings anywhere on this site. No links on this site are affiliate links yet. We are not in any affiliate programme at the moment, so links to shops carry no tracking and earn us nothing. We do intend to earn commission through affiliate programmes in future; when that starts it will be disclosed at the top of every page carrying such a link, not buried down here. Product photographs are illustrative for now. We have not licensed a photograph of every bar yet, so most product pictures on this site show a generic, unbranded bar of that type rather than the product named beside them. Every one of those is labelled “illustrative image” where it appears, and they are being replaced product by product as real licensed images come through. No manufacturer photography has been copied from anywhere.

No prices are published here. Barbell prices move constantly and a stale price is worse than no price, so we link to the shop and ask you to check the current price there. Specifications were correct when this site was built and makers do revise them — confirm anything that matters to you on the shop’s own page before ordering. Lifting heavy weights carries risk; a barbell is not a substitute for coaching, and load ratings published by makers are limits, not targets.
